Inside Automation Campaign of Aritic PinPoint, Actions > Send an Email option, you can find options to send an email as Marketing or Transactional Email.

When Transactional email is selected, then the same email template will be delivered to the contact multiple times when it has been selected inside the same automation campaign multiple times or inside the other automation campaign for the same email template.

When Marketing email is selected, then the same email template will not be delivered again to the contact multiple times when it has been selected inside the same automation campaign multiple times or inside the other automation campaign for the same email template.

When you select Marketing email then, you will have to select priority and number of time the email will be sent to a contact. Once this number has reached and the contact has already received the email template, then this action step inside the Automation Campaign Workflow will automatically skip, taking the contact to next step of Workflow.
