How to set frequency rules for Email and SMS

Settings

Frequency capping is one of the most important feature of all marketing automation platforms, this feature enables you to set up frequency of the messages (emails/ SMS) which can be sent to all of the contacts added inside the contact database of Aritic PinPoint, during given time frame like week / month / day / year.

This feature enables you to save your reputation from getting spoiled by sending over messages to the end contacts during each month / week / day or in a given period of time.

We recommend to send not more than 6-8 emails/ SMS to a contact in a given month. Again, it all depends on the business requirement of the marketing team.

Frequency rules can be set globally from the configuration panel on both the email and SMS settings.

Frequency Set up for Emails: –

Go to Settings > Configuration > Email Settings.
Select “Default Frequency Rule”, choose the number of contacts and the day, week and month when you want to send the email.

Frequency Set up for SMS: –

Go to Settings > Configuration > Text Message Settings.

Select “Default Frequency Rule”, choose the frequency and the day, week and month when you want to send the email.
